Hello, Heather again. I'm going to tell you a little bit more about me.

I have been with Bay Cities Insurance Group since August of 2007. The office is located in Marinette Wisconsin and I am licensed to sell in both states of Michigan and Wisconsin.

I am a 1995 graduate of Menominee High School. After high school I pursued a career in retail. I've worked for Montgomery Wards, JC Penny's, Payless ShoeSource and Maurices.

I attended Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba, Michigan. However, I left to take a promotion at Payless to Full time assistant manager. My choice paid off; within a year I was promoted to store manager. My store team and myself earned many customer service and sales awards. I was even honored with store manager of the year in our district in 2001.

My experience at Payless led to my store manager opportunity with Maurices. I had another successful team with Maurices, meeting again, service and sales awards. My favorite aspect of working retail was always the customers.

I am passionate about taking care of people's needs. I enjoy getting to know people and building relationships with them. When I made the change into insurance, it allowed me to continue doing what I'm passionate about - taking care of my customers!

I don't work a 9-5 Monday through Friday job; I work when it works for my customers. I have found the career I see myself retiring at. I love to save people money but better yet I can help to educate them on their policies.

One of the opportunities I have enjoyed with becoming an insurance agent is getting more involved in the communities I live and work.

I am a member of the Marinette/Menominee Chamber of Commerce. I am currently in the Chamber's leadership academy and Young and Influentials group.

I am on the Holiday Charity Ball committee, benefiting the Twin Counties Free Clinic and attend many other chamber networking events.

I am a member of the Crivitz Business Association. I've volunteered to help out with Crivitz area projects and events. I am on the green committee to help Crivitz "Go Green".

I am a member of Menominee Woods and Stream Sportsmans Club, where I've shot trap for the last 10 years.

July 2007, I married my best friend, Jason. We currently reside in the Crivitz area with our dog, 2 cats, 1 rabbit, 18 chickens, and 1 duck. I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family. I love being in the outdoors! Jason and I have property in Stephenson, Michigan, where we like to spend our free time. We enjoy hunting, fishing and 4-wheeling together.
